Wife Recovers Late Husband’s Voicemail to Treasure Forever!

It’s hard to lose loved ones at any point in your life, and when these people do leave us behind, their memories become treasures. A sacred memory just like them was lost by Debora Taylor, who lost her husband back in 2015. She was dealing with health issues of her own at the time of the incident, but she was overly concerned when her husband, Hank, who was a smoker as well, got diagnosed with lung as well.

He passed away in the loving arms of his wife just a month later. For Debora, a voicemail that said how annoyed he was about having to go back to work meant everything now. He finished by saying ‘I love you, talk to you later.’ Then the phone wouldn’t turn off, and you could hear him say the words ‘ if I could get off the damn phone’. Raw as it was, it helped Debora get over her grief, and it became her stronghold. Her husband’s voice was saying that he loves her to listen to every night.

Moving through her life the voicemail comforted her, until one day she decided to switch the phone carriers. The representative of AT&T said that she would get about 3 hours before the connection deleted the message. Debora planned to eat her burger first, and an hour and a half later, when she opened the message to record it on her iPod, it was gone!

Troubled, she thought her message had disappeared forever, and she posted a little rant about it on Facebook. Unknown to her, her friends contacted AT&T, and just a month later, Debora received a call from the customer representative who walked her through manual steps which ultimately helped her retrieve the message. Debora is euphoric that she found her husband’s voice again to treasure always!
